An American with a Kurdish heart! I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education as a Practitioner, while also learning Kurdish when I was pursuing my studies. During my time in college, I had studied laboriously in my free time about topics relating to history of nations and political philosophy. During this time, I learned about the Kurds and not only empathized with them as a struggling people group, but more importantly fell in love with their culture of honor and hospitality, researching intensely into every bit of their culture as I could, and ended up making many Kurdish friends in Nashville from speaking their language. Growing intimate with an obscure but noble culture, I have made preserving their history and making it known to the world my mission for Dengê Çiyayên!
